Terms of Use
Gracehush · Effective November 4, 2026 · Last updated November 4, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Nouvrix LLC, 5023 Shallow Brook Dr, Charlotte, North Carolina 28215-9551, United States (“Gracehush”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the Gracehush app. By creating an account or using Gracehush you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Gracehush.
1. Who can use Gracehush
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract where you live. These Terms apply on every device where you use Gracehush; section 16 adds terms for Apple devices.
2. What Gracehush is, and is not
Gracehush is a private audio prayer journal. You speak or write a prayer, and Gracehush creates a reflection for you: a Bible passage from the Berean Standard Bible, a short spoken devotional, a closing prayer and three affirmations.
Gracehush is not pastoral counseling, therapy, medical advice or an emergency or crisis service, and it is not a substitute for a pastor, a counselor, a doctor or emergency services. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number; in the US you can call or text 988.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or an emailed code. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate information, and tell us at support@nouvrix.com if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Your content
- Yours. Your recordings, your typed entries and your notes (“Your Content”) belong to you.
- What you allow. When you give your permission in the app, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, process and transmit Your Content, including with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, only to provide Gracehush to you: to create your reflections, keep your journal and sync it across your devices. This permission ends when you take it back in Profile, or delete the content or your account (subject to backups, as the Privacy Policy explains).
- What we do not do. We do not use Your Content for advertising, we do not use it to train AI models, and we do not publish it or share it with other users.
- Your reflections. We create reflections for you from Your Content. As between you and us, you may use them for your own personal purposes, and we do not claim ownership of Your Content. Because artificial intelligence writes them, similar text may be produced for other people, and we cannot promise any legal rights in it.
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for what you submit, including anything you say about other people.
5. AI-written content
Your devotional, closing prayer and affirmations are written with the help of artificial intelligence. They can contain mistakes or miss what you meant. We check that each Bible passage we show matches the text of the Berean Standard Bible, but everything written around it is an AI-written reflection, not the teaching of any church, and not professional advice. Use your own judgment and the counsel of people you trust.
6. Using Gracehush fairly
You agree not to: break the law; try to get into another person’s account or information; probe, scan, overload or disrupt Gracehush or its servers; copy, reverse engineer or take apart the app except where the law allows it; get around the free limit or any other technical limit; use bots, scraping or other automated means; resell or commercially exploit Gracehush; or use it to harass, threaten or harm anyone.
7. Plans, free trials and billing
- Free plan. The free plan includes a limited number of audio devotionals each week (currently three; the app shows your count). The count starts again each Monday.
- Gracehush Pro. Pro includes unlimited audio devotionals. There is a monthly plan and a yearly plan. The price, in your currency and including any taxes that apply, is shown in the app before you buy, and the App Store charges it, not us.
- Free trial. The yearly plan may include a free trial (currently 7 days), only if the App Store tells us you are eligible. If you do not cancel in time, the App Store charges the yearly price when the trial ends: cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends in your App Store subscription settings.
- Renewal. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your App Store subscription settings, which the app links to. Deleting the app or your Gracehush account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds under its own policies; we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store, so please ask Apple.
- Price changes. If a price changes, the App Store’s rules for notifying you apply.
- When a paid plan ends. You keep your entries. Pro features continue until the end of the period you paid for, then the free limit applies.
- Restore. If you reinstall or change phones, use Restore purchases in the app.
8. Changes to Gracehush
We may add, change or remove features, and we may change the free limit. If a change reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
9. Reminders and notifications
If you turn on reminders, Gracehush schedules notifications on your phone at the times you choose. They show an affirmation written for you, which may appear on your lock screen. You can turn reminders off in Profile or in your phone’s settings.
10. Other companies’ services
Signing in and paying use services from Apple, Google, Clerk and RevenueCat, which have their own terms and privacy policies. Their terms govern your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Our property, and Scripture
Gracehush, its design, text, code and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app as these Terms allow. Scripture is from the Berean Standard Bible (public domain), provided through the Free Use Bible API.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Gracehush at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile, Delete Account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the law, or to protect other people; where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. When your account is deleted we delete your information as the Privacy Policy describes. Sections that by their nature continue (such as 4, 11, 13, 14 and 17) continue after your use ends.
13. No warranty
Gracehush is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that Gracehush will always be available or free of errors, or that AI-written content is accurate, complete or right for you, and we make no promises beyond those the law requires. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
14. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for anything arising from Gracehush is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you have paid us nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Gracehush. We may change these Terms as section 18 says, and any other change must be in writing and signed by us. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
16. Apple App Store terms
If you use Gracehush on an Apple device: (a) these Terms are between you and Gracehush, not Apple, and we alone are responsible for the app and its content; (b) your license is to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store’s usage rules permit; (c) we alone are responsible for maintenance and support, and Apple has no obligation to provide any; (d) if the app does not meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, Apple will refund the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation; (e) we, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, legal and regulatory compliance, and consumer protection or privacy claims; (f) if a third party claims the app infringes its intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense and settlement; (g) you confirm that you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties; (h) questions, complaints or claims go to us at support@nouvrix.com or 5023 Shallow Brook Dr, Charlotte, North Carolina 28215-9551, United States; (i) you must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your wireless provider’s; and (j) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you and we agree to that place. This does not take away rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live where those rights cannot be waived.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the date above and, for a significant change, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Gracehush after a change takes effect, you accept it.
